Tuesday Teaser!

No, it's not Tuesday yet; but by the time most of ya'll read this, it will be Tuesday. Planning ahead, I am.

Anyhoo, I'm again running short on blog ideas. So, I will leave you with two things: the first is a question, the second is a teaser from the Stream Pirate sequel I'm working on, Rechanneled.

The question: What do you want to hear about? What blog topics would you like to see me delve into? Any vlog ideas, even? Anything, everything, nothing is too outrageous. Give me your best, your brightest, your silliest ideas, yearning to be free...

The teaser:

“Dirt and sand, all across the land,
The currents are ours, you see.”
I knew that song. The voice sang from somewhere distant, the words curling into circles on the singer’s accent. All was darkness, still; no face with the voice, nothing but those words twisting around my mind, creating a whirlwind of memory that I couldn’t catch.
“No man, no soldier, no officer, no king
Can take my current from me.”
Tom. Tom used to sing that song to me, telling me he’d heard it as a boy. Stream pirates sang that song. Yazoo had never sung this song, nor Ikkin, nor any of his crew. I wanted to know why, I knew why, but all was darkness, still.
“Flow on, my brothers, flow on with me,
Together we flow as one.
No man, no soldier, no officer, no king,
Can erode what we have done.”

Now I shall bid you all goodnight. The retail industry likes to torture its employees with 6 AM inventories. Which means I have to be up at 5 AM. When I set my alarm for 5 AM, my phone went "You want to get up WHEN?? Recheck your time, and ask me again later."

5 AM? Blech. I'm so not a morning person...

Yeesh. 5 AM? Ridiculous.

Do a guest post from one of your characters and have them all hijack your blog for a week?

And how to keep your female MC from being a whiny angsty brat (i.e. Bella) when you introduce your male love interest(s)?

IDK, whatever author's talk about in their blog? lol.

Don't lie Sara. When you posted this teaser you weren't "planning ahead". You were already in Tuesday. I knew it! You're a time traveler!

Please hold all objections until I finish this phone call with National Enquirer. Thankyouverymuch.

Also: I like the teaser! Hope the sequel writing is going well. I forgot: are you doing NaNo? Or do I need to peer pressure you?

Tuesday is such old news (hello Wednesday!). Yes, it is hard being at the forefront of everything!

As for blog ideas, what about interviewing your characters? I'm always meaning to do this.

I love hearing about other people's writing process. Do you outline etc? How long do you work on a story? How many edits? How do you go about your critiques? Perhaps I'm odd though.

You could do a post on how we are both way more awesome then Lara Croft.

Hit up your stat counter. There are endless blog posts on them. Where are people from? What search terms are finding you? Blah blah.

I'm going to go now.

Oh, the teaser was very good. Intreggle! (That's my made-up word--it means intriguing. I'm cool like that.)

Okay, I'm going to stop hijacking your comments section now.

Ug, you're so much better than I am at doing short teasers. I never know when to stop. Loved this,m loved the "words curling" very very nice.

LOL!

I love all the trailers and teasers you post, and I have to totally borrow Jade's suggestion to interview your characters. I'd really like to do that with my characters, so I hope you don't mind. :-)
