And...SCENE

To-Do List:

Macroeconomics final...Check.

Middle Eastern history final...Check.

Book-buy-back...Check (greatest part of the entire quarter, let me tell you. Conversation at the bookstore counter:
Clerk: "I can only give you $5.99 for this book."
Me: "Well, that's certainly more than I'll get if I burn it."
Clerk: "What?"
Me: "Nothing.")

First quarter at new school...DONE.

Can I get an amen? (And yes, I did JUST get done with finals. The only thing worse than an ungodly early final is an ungodly late final.)

Whilst waiting in the four-hour gap between finals today, I perused the shops surrounding my school and found a job lot of goodies that will very soon be associated with the words "contest," "100th post," and "prize." Stay tuned! I got some good stuffs :)

Nice work Sara! Does this mean Spring Break 2009 has officially launched? If so, I'm so jealous. College spring break? Sigh...

L&L -- Unfortunately, my spring break will be half shopping, half wisdom-teeth-removal. So not entirely the party-it-up it should be :(

YAY! AMEN! HALLELUJAH! Man, love that book-buy-back conversation. Thanks for the laugh.

Can't wait for that 100th post...I like prizes.

Ah, finishing finals is SUCH a great feeling. Congrats! Now, go bask and enjoy your break. (You do have a break, right?)

Wow--you finish EARLY! And congratulations! That post-final feeling is so, so wonderful.

And I, too, loved the bookstore conversation. That's exactly how I always felt--three dollars or I'll just chuck it in the trash!

Yes, it is a fabulous feeling! And Renee -- I do have a break, thank God. Won't be doing anything too wild-and-crazy as a college student should, but I do have a break.

Kiersten -- I finished early because I'm on quarters. At first I was a little leery of the whole quarters thing (my old school was semesters). But now I love it. Instead of being stuck in a hateful class for 16 weeks, it's only 8. Fa-BU-lous.

Hey lovely - there's a site online that buys back school texts (recent ones, unfortunately for me) and pay for shipping. I will try to find it. In the meantime - enjoy your break!

Aerin -- Ooo there's a website for it too? That'd be great for the books that I couldn't sell back...
