Holiday Incoherence, Take 1

I've decided the month of December will be full of sporadic and incoherent blog posts. Yay? Nay? All righty then.

Incoherent Chunk The First: Despite the massive migraine that is editing, the end result is always worth it. Those hours of mind-melting, blank-stare-giving editing paid off with what I consider a pretty kick-butt story. Gotta wait to hear back from my betas, but I don't at all regret the hours I spent rocking back and forth, wishing I'd wanted to be a pastry chef instead of a writer. At least pastry chefs get to eat yummy fluffy chocolate concoctions.

Incoherent Chunk The Second: There are altogether too many awesome-looking movies coming out in the next few months. I plan a series of lengthy trailer-showings very soon. Fear not.

Incoherent Chunk The Third: Trading Yesterday is officially my new favorite band. Specifically for this song and this song. Feel free to swoon.

Huzzah for incoherent blog posts and movie trailers!

Don't forget about Dorian Gray this time.

I stupidly thought I would love the editing process, but um, no. It's painful and frustrating and totally annoying because when I write I allow myself to write poorly, but editing is all about trying to make it--you know--good! But it is worth it--and I'm sure your book is amazing (if your posts are any reflection, at least)

And thank you for introducing me to Trading Yesterday, I <3 them so much now! Tehm and Vedera are my two recent discoveries/new faves. :)

Swooning will have to commence later, and it will I really want to listen to the music. And I'm sure Stream Pirate is awesome now and I'm glad that you feel tightening has really paid off. That's a good thing!

I'm sure your book is totally awesome :) All those hours of editing will pay off!

And you know how much I LOVE trailers. Speaking of, I keep watching that Young Victoria trailer obsessively. I must go watch it when it comes out in a couple weeks! Although it's probably gonna be by myself since no one else I've told about it seems remotely interested--except you of course :)
