When you write a scene and at first you can't believe you're capable of writing such absolute drivel, but after a long night of unsatisfying sleep you wake up to the revelation that it's actually pretty brilliant drivel and all you want to do is love it.

That is so cute! I love how the cat is snuggling up to the baby. The baby is a lot more relaxed than I would be, though, because I'm afraid of cats. And I would say that a great scene is definitely a good consolation for a not-so-peaceful night.
